Description:
Estes Park is surrounded by the exhilarating landscape of Rocky Mountain National Park, where you will find waterfalls, pristine mountain lakes, meandering streams, glacial deposits, icy pools, winding roads, thick evergreen forests, aspen groves, a variety of wildlife/flora/fauna and breathtaking vistas. Sheer cliffs rise from the edge of mountain roads to towering heights above. Trail Ridge Road, the nation’s highest continuously paved highway, open seasonally, travels through the heart of the national park from Estes Park to Grand Lake and provides access to the beauty of the alpine tundra above tree line.

The Town of Estes Park is in a high mountain valley, accessible by good roads and surrounded by snow-capped peaks from 8,500 to 14,000 feet high. This small mountain town offers a diverse and eclectic mix of building styles and venues including rustic cabins, elegant homes, historic hotels, turn of the century working cattle ranches and outbuildings, an aerial tramway, a fairgrounds and rodeo arena, an historic movie theatre, ice cream soda shops, 20+ churches, two golf courses, horseback riding stables, restaurants, banquet halls, miniature golf courses, city parks, and much more. Lake Estes offers a marina with large dam and a four mile scenic walking and biking trail, where wildlife is frequently spotted.

Description:
Incorporated in 1908, the Town of Firestone is strategically located between Denver and Ft. Collins and east of the intersection of I-25 and State Highway 119. Firestone was founded as a coal mining settlement in the unique area where the Rocky Mountain front range meets Colorado's eastern plain. This location provides dramatic views of the Rocky Mountains and the vast agriculture areas in this portion of southwest Weld County. Numerous streams, canals and lakes enhance this segment of the St. Vrain River valley ecosystem. Firestone incorporates a large part of the Front Range Legacy Trail system throughout the town with over 14 miles of scenic vistas along a paved trail corridor. The Town offers restaurants, lodging and numerous retail resources, which are available to suit a variety of production needs.
